CTO.5
The green and digital revolutions are critical for building a sustainable, resilient, and competitive European industry. In 2022, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) came into effect, requiring companies to report on their sustainability efforts according to European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). While large companies have begun integrating sustainability, digitization, and energy efficiency into their strategies, their supply chain partners, including SMEs, are also impacted. SMEs will soon need to assess and report on sustainability as part of this transition, but many are currently unprepared in terms of structure and competencies.
This project aims to create an innovative training program focused on upskilling CTOs and other staff in sustainability, resilience, and human-centricity, empowering them with the skills necessary for Industry 5.0. As CTO roles expand, their responsibilities will include driving these new initiatives, making this training essential for future competitiveness.
