Last week, a delegation of Lithuanian companies, led by Intechcentras and LINPRA team, participated in an intensive Export Business Mission to Bremen, Germany, a region renowned for its industrial innovation, engineering excellence, and global connectivity.
This mission was a key element of the RDI Diplomacy Program, designed to forge partnerships for bilateral RDI projects, introduce Lithuanian companies engaged in RDI activities to the German research, development, and innovation ecosystem, and gain experience in good technology application practices through visits to leading enterprises.
During the visit, the delegation had the privilege of engaging with several leading German enterprises:
Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH. A principal division of the Rheinmetall Group, headquartered in Bremen, Germany, dedicated to the development and integration of advanced defence electronics, digital technologies, and system solutions. The company develops cutting-edge technologies for command, control, simulation, and training, serving armed forces and security organisations worldwide.
NVL B.V. & Co. KG. A distinguished German shipbuilding company focusing on the design and construction of naval and coast guard vessels. Operating from Bremen and supported by a network of shipyards across northern Germany and abroad, NVL provides new builds, refits, and comprehensive fleet services to naval and maritime security clients worldwide. With a heritage dating back to the late 19th century and a workforce exceeding 1,000 specialists, NVL is a respected player in the maritime defence industry.
CHS Container Group. A global leader in modular container solutions, offering rental, trading, and custom modifications for logistics, construction, and industrial applications. Based in Bremen, CHS leverages more than 45 years of expertise and operates successfully in over 10 countries.
HANSA-FLEX AG. One of the world’s foremost suppliers of hydraulic systems and components, employing over 4,200 professionals across 445 locations. The company delivers comprehensive solutions in both mobile and stationary fluid technology, serving virtually all industrial sectors.
symex GmbH & Co. KG. A specialist in high-efficiency mixing and homogenising systems for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries. Based in Bremerhaven, symex is widely recognised for its innovative approach to batch processing and automation technologies.
OHB SE. A leading European space and technology group headquartered in Bremen. OHB develops sophisticated satellite systems and aerospace solutions for Earth observation, navigation, and space exploration. With a team of over 3,000 employees, the company is a key contributor to Europe’s space sector.
A group of innovative Lithuanian companies joined the Business mission, showcasing the nation’s growing industrial and technological capabilities UAB Kurokesu, UAB Hi-Steel, UAB TLT Manufacturing, UAB Švytėjimas, UAB Selteka, UAB Užraktas.
